Synopsis
Narumi, a closeted otaku and fujoshi, is starting a new job and desperately wants to keep her hobby a secret. However, she quickly runs into Hirotaka, a childhood friend who knows all about her otaku tendencies.
Fortunately, some of her new colleagues also share similar interests. After a fateful conversation about past relationship woes and shared passions, Hirotaka makes an unexpected proposal to Narumi: to date him.
The anime follows Narumi and Hirotaka as they navigate the challenges and joys of a romantic relationship, all while embracing their shared love of otaku culture and dealing with the quirks that come with it.
Their relationship is portrayed as awkward but ultimately adorable, showing the ups and downs of two people trying to make a relationship work while also staying true to their passions.
