Synopsis
Samurai Champloo follows the unlikely journey of three very different individuals during an alternate Edo period in Japan.
Fuu, a former waitress, enlists the help of two skilled samurai, Mugen and Jin, who she saves from execution.
They agree, albeit reluctantly, to become her bodyguards and assist her in a quest to find a mysterious samurai who smells of sunflowers.
The trio's travels are filled with action, comedy, and impressive sword fights, all underscored by a distinctive hip-hop soundtrack, as they navigate the challenges of their quest and try to prevent Mugen and Jin from killing each other along the way.
It's a story about finding your way, even when your path is unclear.
