Synopsis
In a world where advanced androids called Giftias are nearly indistinguishable from humans, Tsukasa, a young man who failed his college entrance exams, finds work at the company that produces them.
His job at Terminal Service One involves retrieving Giftias that are nearing the end of their lifespan to prevent them from malfunctioning.
He's partnered with Isla, a seasoned Giftia who's known for her expertise in retrievals, despite her gentle demeanor.
The anime explores Tsukasa's growing feelings for Isla as they work together, knowing that her time is limited, and highlighting the themes of mortality and the transient nature of relationships.
