Synopsis
Overtake! tells the story of Kouya Madoka, a photographer trying to rebuild his life after a traumatic experience shattered his career and personal life.
He finds a renewed purpose when he's drawn to the high-octane world of Formula 4 racing, particularly the struggles of a young, talented driver named Haruka Asahina and his underfunded team, Komaki Motors.
Madoka feels compelled to help Haruka achieve his racing dreams, initially through sponsorship, but soon realizes he needs to find more creative and sustainable ways to support the team.
The anime focuses on Madoka's journey to support Haruka, showcasing the challenges and triumphs of a small team striving for success in a demanding sport, and how this new passion reignites Madoka's own creative spark.
