Synopsis
One Outs tells the story of Toua Tokuchi, a ridiculously successful player of a gambling game called "One Outs," where a pitcher and batter face off in a one-on-one battle.
A renowned baseball batter named Hiromichi Kojima sees Tokuchi's potential and believes he can turn around his struggling team, the Saikyou Saitama Lycaons.
Kojima challenges Tokuchi to One Outs and manages to win, forcing Tokuchi to join the Lycaons.
However, Tokuchi's unconventional methods and personality clash with the team's owner, leading to a unique and high-stakes contract: he'll earn a fortune for every out but lose a massive amount for every run he allows.
The anime follows Tokuchi as he uses his intelligence and skill to navigate this challenging agreement and try to lead the Lycaons to success, all while battling against those who want to exploit him.
