Synopsis
Mushishi follows the journey of Ginko, a wandering expert known as a Mushishi. He travels the land, investigating strange phenomena that are often linked to mysterious, primordial beings called Mushi.
These Mushi are neither good nor evil, but simply exist as fundamental aspects of the natural world, often unseen by most people.
Ginko's purpose is to understand these Mushi and their connection to the world around them, seeking to uncover their purpose and how they interact with human life. Each episode presents a new case for Ginko to solve, encountering different Mushi and the people affected by them.
It's a story about exploring the delicate balance between humanity and the unseen forces of nature, all through the eyes of a dedicated researcher.
