Synopsis
Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu. follows Hitohito Tadano, an average high school student who just wants to blend in. His plans are immediately derailed when he finds himself sitting next to Shouko Komi, the school's universally admired, yet enigmatic beauty.
Beneath Komi's perfect facade lies a severe communication disorder. She longs to connect with her classmates but struggles to do so. Tadano inadvertently discovers Komi's secret and learns of her ambitious goal: to make one hundred friends.
Tadano, understanding her plight, becomes Komi's first friend and resolves to help her achieve her goal. The story then focuses on Komi's journey, with Tadano's assistance, as she attempts to overcome her communication challenges and build meaningful relationships with her peers.
