Synopsis
Kimi ni Todoke centers around Sawako Kuronuma, a high school girl nicknamed "Sadako" due to her resemblance to the character from The Ring and the resulting misconceptions about her personality.
She is shy and longs to make friends, admiring Shouta Kazehaya, a popular and outgoing classmate who is kind to everyone.
Kazehaya's presence encourages Sawako to step outside of her comfort zone and try to connect with others, leading to friendships and new experiences.
