Synopsis
Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru follows Kakeru, a talented but troubled former high school runner, who finds himself recruited into a run-down apartment complex by Haiji.
Haiji, an enigmatic student with a burning ambition, dreams of competing in the prestigious Hakone Ekiden, a grueling university marathon relay race.
The catch? The apartment, Chikusei-sou, houses a group of eccentric and completely untrained students who have no interest in running.
The story explores how Haiji attempts to convince and train these reluctant residents, including the initially resistant Kakeru, to achieve his ambitious goal of participating in the Ekiden. It's a tale of overcoming personal struggles, building camaraderie, and pushing beyond perceived limitations, all while striving for a seemingly impossible dream.
