Synopsis
Hanasaku Iroha follows the story of Ohana, a spirited Tokyo teenager whose life is turned upside down when her mother unexpectedly flees.
Forced to leave the city, Ohana is sent to live with her estranged grandmother, who owns a traditional Japanese inn in the countryside.
Ohana must then adjust to a new life, working as a maid at the inn and attending a new school.
The anime explores her struggles and triumphs as she navigates the challenges of her new environment, builds relationships with the inn's staff and local students, and learns about herself along the way.
It's a coming-of-age story about finding your place and growing up in unexpected circumstances.
