Synopsis
FLCL centers around Naota, a seemingly average kid bored with his predictable small-town life. His routine is disrupted by the arrival of Haruko, a chaotic and unpredictable woman.
Haruko's arrival triggers strange occurrences in Naota's life, including the growth of a horn on his head. She inserts herself into his family and their mundane lives.
Naota finds himself caught up in a bizarre and escalating series of events. While trying to understand Haruko's motives and the changes happening to him, he unwittingly becomes a key player in a much larger, possibly universal, conflict. It's a coming-of-age story wrapped in layers of oddity and action.
