Synopsis
In a distant future, humanity is on the brink of extinction due to the emergence of monstrous creatures called Gadoll. The remnants of humanity reside within Deca-Dence, a colossal mobile fortress. Inside, society is divided: the Gears, elite warriors who fight the Gadoll, and the Tankers, who primarily provide support from within the fortress.
Natsume, a young Tanker with a prosthetic arm, dreams of joining the Gears and fighting on the front lines. Despite her aspirations, she is assigned to a cleaning crew under the gruff and seemingly unmotivated Kaburagi.
As Natsume works with Kaburagi, she learns that there's more to him than meets the eye. He begins to see her potential to shake up the established order. Kaburagi takes Natsume under his wing, preparing her for a unique role that could change the fate of their world.
