Synopsis

Makoto Naegi, an ordinary high school student, unexpectedly gains admission to the prestigious Hope's Peak Academy, a school renowned for nurturing top talent. Excited for the opportunity, he enters the academy only to find himself and his classmates trapped inside.

A mysterious, robotic bear named Monokuma appears, declaring that the students are now participants in a deadly game. The only way to escape the academy is to murder another student and get away with it.

Faced with an impossible choice, Naegi and his classmates must decide whether to participate in Monokuma's twisted game of survival or resign themselves to a life of imprisonment within the school walls. The stakes are high, and trust is a rare commodity as they navigate this terrifying situation.
