Synopsis
Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e is set in a seemingly perfect high school where students have immense freedom.
However, this ideal facade hides a harsh reality: students are divided into four classes, A through D, based on merit.
Only the highest-ranked classes receive preferential treatment, making the lower classes, especially Class D, the dumping ground for the "worst" students.
The story follows Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, a student in Class D, as he navigates this cutthroat environment with his classmates, including the ambitious Suzune Horikita and the friendly Kikyou Kushida.
Despite their class placement, students can rise in the ranks, and in Class D, any means necessary are permitted to achieve success.
The anime explores whether Ayanokouji and his classmates can overcome the odds and climb to the top of this meritocratic school.
