Synopsis
Uchuu Kyoudai tells the story of two brothers, Mutta and Hibito, who as children, saw something extraordinary that inspired them both to dream of becoming astronauts.
Years later, Hibito is on track to fulfill that dream, becoming a leading candidate for a lunar mission.
Mutta, however, has taken a different path and finds himself working a regular job. But fate intervenes when he loses his job and is given a chance to apply to the Japanese space program, JAXA.
Despite his doubts, Mutta decides to seize the opportunity and embark on a challenging journey to catch up with his younger brother and pursue the childhood promise they made together.
