Synopsis
In a far future where humanity has spread to the stars and is locked in a war against strange creatures called Hideauze, a young soldier named Ledo finds himself stranded on a waterlogged Earth after a battle gone wrong.
He's rescued by a fleet of scavenger ships known as Gargantia, but initial misunderstandings lead to tensions.
Ledo, unable to contact his people, must learn to adapt to this new world and the unfamiliar culture of the Gargantia fleet.
However, this peaceful existence is threatened as Ledo soon discovers that Earth and the Gargantia fleet are not as simple as they appear.
