Synopsis
Saikyou Kamizmode! tells the story of Dai Mugen, a former drumming prodigy who lost his passion after a crushing defeat.
He unexpectedly meets Goutetsu, a peculiar being claiming to be a god, who chooses Dai to be his "oyakata" or coach.
This coaching involves guiding Goutetsu in "kamizumo," a unique form of sumo wrestling where gods battle each other.
Dai rediscovers his drumming skills to power up Goutetsu in these matches, using his drumbeats to enhance the god's abilities.
As they work together and achieve success, Dai confronts his inner demons and begins to reignite his love for drumming, aiming for the pinnacle of kamizumo.
