What is s-CRY-ed?#
Set in the Kanazawa prefecture, s-CRY-ed takes place in a secluded, harsh environment known as “The Lost Ground,” created by a strange environmental phenomenon 22 years prior that caused the land to split and protrude upwards. The story follows Kazuma, a young mercenary struggling to survive in this wasteland.
Kazuma possesses a rare gift called the “Alter” ability, which allows him to cover his torso and right arm in a metallic alloy. The plot intensifies when Kazuma clashes with HOLY, an organization dedicated to capturing and suppressing “Native Alter Users.” This encounter sparks an epic rivalry between Kazuma and Ryuho, one of HOLY’s elite members.
