Synopsis
Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace follows Yoshio Kobayashi, a middle school student who finds himself at the center of a gruesome murder investigation.
Accused of the crime he didn't commit, Yoshio, aided by his friend Souji, embarks on a quest to clear his name.
Their investigation draws the attention of Kogorou Akechi, a brilliant high school detective, who becomes intrigued by Yoshio and his unique perspective.
Yoshio seeks to become Akechi's assistant, plunging into the world of crime-solving, while Akechi tests the boy's abilities and resolve in the face of bizarre and unsettling mysteries inspired by the works of Ranpo Edogawa.
