Synopsis
In a bleak, post-apocalyptic future where humanity teeters on the brink of extinction due to constant rainfall and a failed space colonization program, scavengers called Junkers risk their lives to salvage remnants of the old world.
One Junker, seeking valuable resources, infiltrates a particularly dangerous abandoned city, only to stumble upon an untouched planetarium.
Inside, he encounters Yumemi, a cheerful and eternally optimistic robot attendant who has been waiting for a customer for three decades.
Mistaking him for her first visitor in years, Yumemi eagerly wants to fulfill her programmed duty of showing him the stars, but the planetarium's projector is broken.
Despite the Junker's initial confusion and reluctance, he finds himself drawn into helping Yumemi repair the projector, embarking on a journey that will likely challenge his hardened worldview and the desolate reality he knows.
