Synopsis
A young man named Yuu Narukami moves to the quiet town of Inaba to live with his uncle due to his parents' work. He quickly makes friends at his new school, Yasogami High, with Yousuke, Chie, and Yukiko.
They soon become intrigued by a local urban legend called the "Midnight Channel" and decide to investigate. Yuu discovers he can enter the world inside the television, a bizarre realm filled with dangerous creatures called Shadows.
As a series of murders plague Inaba, Yuu and his friends realize the TV world and the real-world crimes are connected. They form an "Investigation Team" to uncover the truth behind the mysteries and protect the town from an unknown threat lurking in the shadows.
