Synopsis
Ore Monogatari!! centers around Takeo Gouda, a high schooler whose imposing physique often leads to misunderstandings. While popular among his male friends for his bravery, his intimidating appearance makes romance difficult.
His best friend, the handsome Makoto Sunakawa, effortlessly attracts the girls that Takeo likes, leaving Takeo feeling perpetually unlucky in love.
Everything changes when Takeo rescues Rinko Yamato. He quickly falls for her, but believes she is interested in Sunakawa.
The anime then follows Takeo's journey as he selflessly tries to help Yamato pursue what he believes is her happiness, all while secretly hoping for his own chance at love.
