Synopsis
Mouryou no Hako revolves around the strange incident of a girl, Kanako, who is severely injured in a train accident, and the subsequent investigation led by detective Kiba.
The case quickly becomes complex, involving Kanako's famous actress sister, Youko, and a peculiar doctor, Mimasaka, who takes Kanako to a mysterious facility for experimental treatment.
Adding to the mystery, Kanako vanishes from the facility. Kiba's investigation then uncovers gruesome discoveries: boxed body parts of young girls.
Kiba, along with his partners Sekiguchi and Chuuzenji, must navigate a web of deceit and unravel the truth behind Kanako's disappearance and the disturbing murders, all while exploring connections between the Yuzuki family and the dark secrets hidden within their world.
