Synopsis
In a future where humanity has spread across the stars, a hostile alien race known as Victim threatens to extinguish humankind, leaving only the planet Zion standing.
To defend themselves, humans establish GOA, a training academy designed to find and prepare pilots for powerful humanoid robots called Ingrids, or "Goddesses," the last hope against the alien onslaught.
These pilots must possess a rare blood type and a special ability known as EX. Zero, a newcomer to GOA, unexpectedly finds himself synchronized with one of the Goddesses, Eeva-Leena.
His seemingly impossible connection raises many questions, but Zero must quickly begin his pilot training as the fate of Zion, and perhaps all of humanity, rests on his shoulders and the strength of the Goddesses.
