Synopsis
In a Japan secretly protected by an organization called Direct Attack (DA) and their elite assassins known as "Lycoris," the story follows Takina Inoue, a highly skilled Lycoris agent.
After a controversial incident during a mission, Takina is transferred to LycoReco, a seemingly ordinary cafe that serves as a front for DA operations.
There, she's partnered with Chisato Nishikigi, a cheerful and unconventional Lycoris prodigy whose methods clash with Takina's serious and disciplined approach.
Takina struggles to adapt to Chisato's unique way of handling missions and her focus on non-lethal solutions, all while yearning to return to her previous position within DA.
As Takina works alongside Chisato, she begins to question her own beliefs and the true purpose of being a Lycoris, discovering there may be more to life than just eliminating threats.
