Synopsis

Humanity, forced to return to Earth after a failed space exodus, finds the planet largely uninhabitable except for Japan. To accommodate everyone, pocket dimensions are created, each re-enacting historical events based on the Testament.

However, these pocket dimensions eventually invade and conquer Japan, forcing the original Japanese inhabitants to live on a city-ship called Musashi. They are overseen by the Testament Union, which dictates the historical re-enactment.

As the year 1648 arrives, the Testament stops revealing future events, causing widespread unease and rumors of an impending apocalypse. A student named Toori Aoi sees this as an opportunity to reclaim Japan.

Toori, along with his classmates, plans to use the disruption in the historical timeline to fight back against the nations that now control their homeland, aiming to restore Japan's original inhabitants to their rightful place.
