Synopsis
Kyoukai no Kanata centers around Mirai Kuriyama, a Spirit World warrior who uses her blood as a weapon to fight youmu, creatures born from negative human emotions.
She encounters Akihito Kanbara, an immortal half-youmu, and their unusual relationship begins with Mirai constantly trying (and failing) to kill him.
As they grow closer, Mirai joins the Literary Club, which includes other Spirit World warriors, Hiroomi and Mitsuki Nase.
The group faces increasingly dangerous youmu threats, hinting at a larger conflict on the horizon. Their adventures ultimately lead them towards confronting a powerful and devastating youmu known as Beyond the Boundary.
