The Kowloon Generic Romance anime debuted on April 5, 2025. However, the original manga, written by Jun Mayuzuki, did not reach its conclusion until April 2026. Because the anime began its run before the source material was completed, there is a significant amount of story in the manga’s final arc that the first season of the anime would not have been able to cover.
