Synopsis
Koukyuu no Karasu centers around Ryuu Jusetsu, the Raven Consort, a mysterious figure in the imperial court known for her reclusive nature and rumored magical abilities. She lives apart from the emperor and is said to grant any request, from finding lost objects to enacting curses, though she prefers solitude.
Emperor Ka Koushun, a young and inquisitive ruler, seeks her help with a peculiar case, drawing her out of her isolated palace. Annoyed by his constant visits, Jusetsu finds herself compelled to assist him nevertheless.
She takes on Jiujiu, a curious court girl, as her attendant, and together they begin to address the problems and requests of the palace inhabitants. As Jusetsu becomes more involved, she risks uncovering a hidden past that she would rather keep buried. The story focuses on the unraveling of these mysteries and the bonds Jusetsu forms as she breaks from her destined isolation.
