Synopsis
In a peaceful future, Earth's leaders send a starship to explore beyond our galaxy.
This mission is soon interrupted by an attack from the Galbeston Empire.
To defend Earth, the giant robot Dairugger XV is deployed, comprised of 15 separate vehicles.
The Dairugger team soon discovers a deeper reason for the conflict, involving the Galbeston people and their impending planetary disaster.
Dairugger must then balance Earth's defense with helping the Galbestons find a new home and freeing them from their tyrannical ruler.
Unlike some versions, this is a standalone story about Dairugger and does not connect to other robot anime franchises.
