Synopsis
Kemonozume is a story about a hidden war between humans and monstrous creatures called Shokujinki. These creatures live in secret, disguised as humans but with the ability to transform into powerful beasts that feed on human flesh.
The Kifuuken dojo is dedicated to hunting and eliminating the Shokujinki, protecting humanity from their insatiable hunger.
At the heart of this conflict is Toshihiko, a Kifuuken warrior who falls in love with Yuka, a woman whose true nature is a dangerous secret. Their forbidden romance unfolds against a backdrop of tradition and change within the Kifuuken itself, led by Toshihiko's conflicted brother, Kazuma.
As hidden truths come to light and allegiances are tested, Kemonozume explores themes of love, duty, and the blurred lines between human and monster, forcing the characters to confront their destinies and the consequences of their choices.
