Synopsis
During the late Edo period, Shinjuro, the son of a dojo master, unexpectedly finds himself in charge of his family's swordsmanship school.
With his father away on a secret mission for the shogunate, Shinjuro must manage the dojo and its new, primarily female, students.
Life at the dojo is relatively calm until a series of burglaries throws the city into chaos and the shogunate enlists prominent dojos, including Shinjuro's, to help with security.
Now, Shinjuro must juggle his responsibilities at the dojo with the added pressure of confronting mysterious thieves while navigating his increasingly complicated personal life.
