Synopsis
Kibagami Jubei, a wandering swordsman, is drawn into a new conflict years after his previous battles. He encounters Shigure, a sheltered priestess whose village is destroyed, leaving her the target of demonic forces.
Jubei finds himself in possession of a mysterious object called the Dragon Jewel, making him a target as well. Meanwhile, Shigure, accompanied by a monk named Dakuan and a young thief, journeys toward Yagyu.
Two demon clans are now hunting Shigure, and Dakuan seeks out Jubei once again to protect her, as she is considered the Priestess of Light.
