Synopsis

Takumi Fujiwara, a seemingly disinterested teenager, spends his days driving his father's Toyota AE86 to deliver tofu on Mount Akina. He's completely unaware of the street racing world, seeing driving only as a chore.

Meanwhile, the Akagi Red Suns, a prominent street racing team led by the Takahashi brothers, arrive in Akina intending to dominate the local racing scene. They are confident in their skills and ambition.

However, an unexpected encounter with a skilled, unknown driver in an AE86 leaves the Red Suns intrigued and slightly threatened. The brothers begin to investigate this mysterious driver, unaware that he's the same tofu delivery boy.

The story follows Takumi as he unknowingly becomes entangled in the world of street racing, while the Red Suns seek to uncover the identity and skills of the driver who humbled one of their own. It sets the stage for potential rivalries and the exploration of Takumi's hidden driving talent.
