Synopsis
Five years after the end of a long and brutal war, former saboteur Tooru Acura struggles to find purpose in a peaceful world. He encounters Chaika Trabant, a mysterious white-haired wizard carrying a coffin.
Chaika seeks Tooru's help, along with that of his adoptive sister Akari, to collect the scattered remains of her father for a proper burial.
However, this seemingly simple task is complicated by the fact that Chaika's father was the infamous Emperor Arthur Gaz, whose reign of terror sparked the war. The Council of Six Nations is actively hunting Chaika.
Tooru and Akari are faced with a difficult choice: help Chaika fulfill her mission, or side with the council and potentially protect the fragile peace the continent has fought so hard to achieve. The anime follows their journey as they navigate this complex situation.
