Synopsis
In a world struggling with rising crime, Japan has established a special academy for armed detectives, called "Butei". These Butei are trained to fight crime and act as agents of justice.
Kinji Tooyama, a former student in the combat division, has withdrawn from active duty to live a more peaceful life and hide a special ability he finds embarrassing.
However, his quiet life is disrupted when he becomes a target of a dangerous criminal known as the "Butei Killer".
During this crisis, he encounters Aria Holmes Kanzaki, a highly skilled and outspoken Butei, who saves his life.
