Synopsis
Kumiko, seeking a fresh start in high school, finds herself reluctantly drawn back into the world of concert band, playing the euphonium once again.
The Kitauji High School band is currently struggling, nowhere near the level needed for competition. Their new advisor challenges them with a choice: to remain casual or strive for nationals.
Kumiko, haunted by past band experiences, is uncertain about aiming for such high goals. Adding to the complexity, a former rival, Reina, joins the band, forcing Kumiko to confront unresolved issues.
As the band embarks on rigorous training, they must overcome personal challenges and learn to work together in order to achieve success under their demanding instructor's guidance.
