Synopsis
Hand Shakers tells the story of Tazuna, a mechanically inclined high schooler, who inadvertently becomes a "Hand Shaker" when he touches Koyori, a mysterious girl.
Hand Shakers are individuals who have gained special powers through a divine revelation and can access an alternate dimension called Ziggurat.
These pairs must battle other Hand Shakers in Ziggurat, all competing for the opportunity to meet God and have a single wish granted.
Tazuna and Koyori become partners, bound together by the fact that Koyori's life depends on them remaining connected.
They must learn to work together, master their abilities, and overcome various challenges to achieve their goal and potentially save Koyori's life.
