Synopsis
Gugure! Kokkuri-san tells the story of Kohina, a girl who claims to be a doll and lives a very isolated life.
She accidentally summons Kokkuri-san, a fox spirit from folklore, but he's not quite what she expects.
Instead of being a powerful, all-knowing spirit, he's weakened and finds himself unexpectedly concerned about Kohina's well-being, particularly her unhealthy diet of cup ramen.
Feeling responsible, Kokkuri-san decides to stay with her and try to improve her living situation and take care of her, leading to a comical and unusual cohabitation.
The anime follows their daily lives and the strange situations they find themselves in as Kokkuri-san attempts to provide Kohina with a proper and fulfilling life.
