Synopsis
Fate/Zero tells the story of the Fourth Holy Grail War, a battle royale fought by seven mages. Each mage, or "Master," summons a powerful heroic spirit, or "Servant," to fight alongside them.
The ultimate prize is the Holy Grail, a magical artifact said to grant any wish. The Einzbern family, confident in their advantage, hires Kiritsugu Emiya, a ruthless mercenary, to fight for them.
Kiritsugu, along with his Servant Saber, must confront the other Masters and their Servants, each with their own motivations and desires. Among them is Kirei Kotomine, a priest who seeks meaning in his life through his rivalry with Kiritsugu. This war is a brutal struggle for survival where alliances are fragile and no one is safe.
