Synopsis
Eyeshield 21 follows the story of Sena Kobayakawa, an unassuming high school freshman whose natural speed and agility catch the eye of the ruthless Youichi Hiruma, captain of the struggling Deimon Devil Bats football team.
Forced to join the team under the anonymous guise of "Eyeshield 21," Sena must learn to overcome his shyness and harness his abilities to become the team's star running back.
He must balance concealing his identity with the pressures of performing well on the field. As Sena plays and practices, he starts to build confidence and friendship with the other members of the team. This allows Sena to become a valuable asset to the Devil Bats.
