Synopsis
Enen no Shouboutai focuses on a world plagued by Spontaneous Human Combustion, where people randomly turn into fiery monsters called Infernals. Some people, however, gain pyrokinetic abilities, allowing them to control flames.
The story follows Shinra Kusakabe, a young third-generation pyrokinetic who joins Special Fire Force Company 8. This organization is dedicated to extinguishing Infernals and uncovering the mystery behind the combustions.
Shinra dreams of becoming a hero, but he quickly discovers the Fire Force is rife with internal conflicts. He also learns of a shadowy organization connected to the tragic fire that killed his family. Shinra must navigate these challenges while striving to learn the truth behind the strange flames.
