Synopsis
Tsubasa, a high school student, moves from Tokyo to the rural, snowy Hokkaido. He quickly discovers that Hokkaido is colder and more different than he imagined. He meets a local girl named Fuyuki, a fashionable "Dosanko gal," who embraces the cold in a short skirt and immediately takes an interest in him.
Fuyuki turns out to be in his class and sits next to him, leading to a quick friendship and perhaps something more. Tsubasa is drawn into the unique culture of Hokkaido and charmed by Fuyuki's outgoing personality. He also begins to meet other stylish girls from his school.
The story follows Tsubasa as he adjusts to his new life in Hokkaido, forms relationships with these local girls, and gets to know Fuyuki better. It's a tale about finding your place in a new environment and discovering the charms of Hokkaido and its "Dosanko gals".
