Synopsis
Demi-chan wa Kataritai follows the everyday life of biology teacher Tetsuo Takahashi, who is fascinated by "Demi," creatures who are part human, part monster.
He seeks to understand them better and gets the chance to do so when he encounters several Demi students at his high school.
The story focuses on Takahashi's interactions with these Demi girls – a vampire, a dullahan, and a snow woman – as he tries to learn about their unique perspectives and challenges in integrating into human society through informal interviews and casual conversations.
He also interacts with a succubus teacher, further expanding his understanding of Demi. Ultimately, the anime explores the idea that Demi are perhaps not so different from humans after all, highlighting their shared experiences and emotions.
