Synopsis
A normal high schooler, Aoba, is thrust into a futuristic war when he's attacked by a giant robot. He's rescued by a classmate who reveals a startling truth: they're both from the future.
To save Aoba's life, she sends him 70 years into the future, where he finds himself piloting a Valiancer in a conflict between two factions: the Free Pact Alliance and the Zogilia Republic.
Aoba discovers he has a unique ability to "couple" with another pilot, Dio, enhancing their combat skills. He's taken aboard an FPA ship, the Cygnus, where he'll be questioned about his origins and the coupling phenomenon.
