Synopsis
Beastars tells the story of Legoshi, a grey wolf living in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals. In this society, herbivores and carnivores struggle to coexist peacefully, a tension exacerbated by a recent murder at Cherryton Academy.
The victim was Tem, an alpaca from the drama club, and the incident throws suspicion and fear into sharp relief. Legoshi, already self-conscious about his predatory nature, finds himself caught in the aftermath.
He tries to suppress his instincts, but his life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters Haru, a dwarf rabbit. Legoshi's confusing feelings for Haru, coupled with the unresolved mystery surrounding Tem's death, force him to confront his own identity and the darker aspects of the world around him.
The story follows Legoshi as he navigates this complex social landscape, grappling with his inner demons and the external pressures of a world on the brink of conflict.
