Synopsis
In a world plagued by giant beasts, humanity relies on special warriors called nagimori who wield the power of magical beings known as kannagi.
Jiiro, a former nagimori grappling with loss, encounters Kuumi, a young woman whose magical abilities have just awakened.
After forming a contract to protect their city, Jiiro discovers Kuumi is fleeing from a research facility and its leader.
Reluctantly, Jiiro agrees to help Kuumi escape, joined by her friend Myaa, and they embark on a journey across the land.
As they travel, they begin to uncover dangerous conspiracies and realize that humans can be even more terrifying than the monsters they fight.
