Synopsis
In an alternate 1996, Cold War tensions have spread to space, with the US and Soviet Union militarizing the Moon and Mars. A group of teenagers participating in a cultural exchange program on Mars finds their lives thrown into chaos when advanced humanoid robots suddenly appear and engage in battle, destroying their base.
Stranded on a hostile planet, only a handful of the teenagers and their instructor survive the attack. They are soon confronted by the pilot of one of the robots, who cryptically warns them that Earth is in danger. The survivors must now navigate this dangerous new reality, with Earth's fate potentially resting on their shoulders, though they have no understanding of why or how.
