Synopsis
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. tells the story of Jinta, a former child who now lives as a recluse.
One summer, the ghost of his childhood friend, Menma, appears to him, asking him to fulfill a wish she doesn't remember.
Jinta initially dismisses it as a hallucination, but eventually accepts that she's really there.
Menma's presence forces Jinta to reconnect with their estranged group of childhood friends.
Together, they must confront their shared past and the grief they've carried since Menma's death in order to help her find peace and move on, while also healing themselves in the process.
